I’m Francesco Marcheselli, an English Speaking Physiotherapist in Florence!
I graduated Physiotherapy in 2009 and after that I started working in Florence.
I am a GeoBlue Provider, which gives me the chance to meet many american students and tourists in Florence. It is a pleasure for me to help foreign people during their stay in Florence.
I speak English fluently and this helps me with the medical treatment of patients who sometimes find it difficult to explain their pain or discomfort to someone who doesn’t speak English well.
My approach is to start with an interview to understand the pain’s origin and the problem well, then, after an evaluation of muscles and joints, I use manual therapy to increase the joints’ range of motion, resulting in that the patient can regain the ability to move without pain.
I’m also trained in bandages, eg. after an ankle sprain, something that can happen when walking all day in the city center of Florence, and in the treatment of acute pain.
In the past years I met people from all around the world and I find it very interesting to spend some good time talking while I try to help them with their pain or condition that may cause some
trouble during their beautiful stay in Florence.
I am in contact with the Medical service in Florence where many English speaking doctors can help you with any condition. My medical center is close to the city center, at Via Masaccio 235. You can schedule an appointment from Monday to Friday, from 8am to 8pm, depending on the availability.
